In The Paradise Of Sunny Kapoho With Vanessa Taal.
A Yoga And Writing Retreat Where We Remember Our Collaboration With Existence.
If you listen, the land is speaking.
The rocks, the trees, the sea, the birds.
With pen and paper in hand, listen and let the voice of the land run through you. By connecting with the omniscient perspective through nature herself, we are able to look at ourselves and the world through new eyes.
We begin to have a different relationship with time itself. This shift helps us reflect on our own lives and find the grounding to embrace what is transient.
We come to Voice of the Land to allow ourselves to be held by the land, while we delve into the ancient practice of storytelling—a most intimate means of self exploration.
So that we can resonate more deeply with the land, and with who we are as we walk it.
There are few places better to listen to the voice of the land than an off grid fruit sanctuary on the Big Island of Hawai’i. Come for a short week of body mind and spirit integration in a slice of slightly tamed wild jungle a walk from the ocean in Kapoho.
Activities include visits to local springs and beaches, and a sound bath ceremony by a native healer from the order of Lono known as Nahulu.
